What Is Tiva Decking Traction?
Tiva’s decking comes with excellent traction
comparable with many PVC decking boards for traction. Which often score higher than many composite brands. The ASA technology (otherwise known as acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile) creates a wood grain effect that decreases the likelihood of slipping, even in wet weather.
The increased traction makes the decking boards perfect for areas prone to excessive wetness (like around a swimming pool) or slip hazards (such as stair steps).
How Long Is Tiva Warranty?
Tiva’s warranty period is one of the main aspects we appreciate with this company. All TIVADEK PVC decking products come with a limited lifetime warranty. Depending on your buyer type, the warranty terms change:
- For a residential purchaser, the guarantee extends to fifty years.
- For a commercial purchaser, the warranty extends to fifteen years.
Of course, there are some restrictions and exclusions in their warranty policy. But generally speaking, their coverage range is pretty broad. You can expect them to cover the following if the damage is the manufacturer’s or material’s fault:
- Splitting
- Rotting
- Splintering
- Delamination
- Cracking
- Swelling
- Termites or fungal decay
This is similar warranty length and coverage for residential applications as some of the bigger PVC brands like Azek and Fiberon.

Yes! As for aesthetics, we love the options (despite the somewhat limited choice in the Modern Series). But beyond the looks, the patented core technology guaranteed to stand the test of time along with the lifetime warranty, makes it a no-brainer addition to your home.
